OUT OF SCHOOL TIME
Out of School Time program serves school-aged youth from 3rd to 12th grade from a variety of neighborhoods. Education is core to everything that we do here. We provide a variety of different programs to serve every child who walks through our doors during their time after school to best suit their interests and needs with the overall goal of instilling the desire for lifelong learning.
EXPLORATION
During out-of-school time, children are given the freedom to explore their interests through on-computer play, art projects, outdoor activities, and STEAM-based lessons. Additionally, children are welcome to come kick back and relax by playing Xbox, PS4, or Wii in our Gaming Center.
STEAM PROGRAMING
OTHER PROGRAMING

Partnering with STEM Coding Lab, the students will use coding and robots to complete challenges using different parts and components of the bots. These include LED lights, motors, and sensors. The challenges that the students will complete range from driving through a simple maze all the way to integrating AI into their robot.
This program is our kids Cooking Class! This engaging program is designed specifically for children, where they’ll learn basic cooking skills, explore STEAM education in the kitchen, and enjoy the creativity of making their own meals and treats. There will be several sessions for this program because spaces are very limited, and we want to give as many kiddos the opportunity to experience Culinary Clubhouse.
Girl Talk is a weekly mentoring program for middle school girls. The weekly lessons help give the girls life skills, advice and a jump start on preparing for high school. Lessons also include fun activities, crafts, games and even field trips for the girls. Our goal is for everyone involved to be given a safe space to express themselves, make friends and have fun while being positively guided! This will take place once a week, every Wednesday afterschool from 3:30-5:30pm.
GRIT Squad is a weekly mentoring program designed for middle school boys. Our mission is to help young men develop character, confidence, and a strong sense of purpose through positive mentorship, meaningful discussions, service projects, and hands-on activities. GRIT Squad gives students a safe space to be themselves, build friendships, and learn the skills they’ll need for high school and beyond. Because middle school is tough—and no one should have to go through it alone.
Every day, every child receives a full, nutritious meal before going home. Through this effort, we help fight food insecurity while ensuring children have access to the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
